A stroke occurs when the blood supply to a part of the brain is suddenly interrupted or when a blood vessel in the brain
bursts spilling blood into the spaces surrounding the brain cells. The effects of a stroke depend primarily upon the location
and the extent of the brain tissue affected. Some of the effects could include paralysis on one side of the body, vision problems,
memory loss, speech and language problems.
